Hallo zusammen,

in einem Telefonat mit @Rudolf haben wir gemerkt, dass es hin und wieder interessante Statements vom BCP auf Discord gibt, die (noch) nicht anderweitig kommuniziert waren. Daher die Idee, entsprechende Aussagen zu sammeln und darzulegen. Dabei bitte aber beachten, dass die Aussagen aufgrund des Chat-Charakters von Discord eher als "halboffiziell" zu werten sind und nur in gekürzter Form dargestellt werden können - dennoch sind sie m.E. interessant und diskussionswürdig.

Neben der Liste mit der Promo-Verfügbarkeit gibt es noch etwas interessantes zu dem Verhältnis Rules / Rulings (auch wenn es schon im August diskutiert wurde).

So a new rulebook does "overrule" the old rulings?

if the rulings are on how to interpret a rulebook and bits have been left out deliberately, that ruling does not apply to anythign any more.
in this case that ruling applies to 6.22 of the rulebook -> that doesn't exist.
that might not be the cleanest, but you'd have to bring them all back in and re-reference as needed

The ruling we're literally talking about isn't a ruling it's a "I want to add this new paragraph to the rules" to make it work like X. Without that paragraph the rules don't do that .

Auch noch interessant - gerade vor dem Hintergrund, dass Eagle's Sight jetzt in dem Salubri-Deck sind. Vielleicht hat es ja was mit dem neuen Regelbuch oder einem Errata zu tun?

Does seeing the declination of blocking as an effect helps the gane in any way? Wouldnt not taking it as an effect make the game way faster and leave little room for discussion against eagle sight?

changing it would potentially enable an Eagle´s Sight blocker to wait till the bleed has been boosted instead of having to act on the same premise as the default blocker(s)

that's exactly how it is played 90% of the time, that's my broad issue with LSJ (and Pascal) -> it's generally not an issue but there's a reason eagles sight isn't in the V5 starters [Rechtschreibung korr., Hervh. JE]

Das sind dann eher Gerüchte und Gedanken, aber (noch) nichts offizielles, richtig? Also nur zur Info, aber nicht bereits verwendbar in Spielen.
Z. B. ist es interessant, dass Hugh quarrel mit den Rulesmongern wegen Eagle's Sight hatte, das ändert aber nichts an der momentanen Linie, wie sie gespielt werden sollte.

Ich würde solche Aussagen stärker gewichten als "Gedanken und Gerüchte". Es sind Aussagen in ein öffentlichen Setting, die von BCP-Offiziellen, in ihrer Rolle getätigt werden.

Große Verbindlichkeit haben sie m.E. aber nicht - dazu sind die Chats in Discord zu wechselhaft.

Bspw. sollte die Aussage, dass neues Rulebook über Rulings steht, nochmal im Forum oder Newsletter bestätigt werden.

Im Discord nochmals die Bestätigung, dass es 1vs1-Decks geben wird - wurde dort bisher noch teilweise in Frage gestellt.

Anybody knows if the "Two player designed decks" announced in the EC are going to be two decks designed by players or decks designed to play 1vs1?
